Making History in the NCAAs • Purdue has advanced to its sixth straight NCAA Regional competition, the second-longest streak in school history. Purdue made 19 straight NCAA appearances from 1949-67, for its longest streak. • Head coach Rob Bradley has taken Purdue to NCAA Regionals in all six years since his arrival before the 2013-14 season. Prior to his arrival, Purdue had six appearances in the previous 11 seasons.
The Underdog Role Fits Nicely • In four of the five previous years, Purdue has exceeded their seeding expectations at NCAA Regionals advancing to the NCAA Championships three times and losing in a playoff once in the process.
