WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The final home meet of the Purdue track & field season is slated for Feb. 1 and 2 at Lambert Fieldhouse. The featured teams at the Fred Wilt Open will include Austin Peay, Indianapolis, Lindenwood, Southeast Missouri, Tennessee Tech, Valparaiso and the University of the Bahamas.

The meet will begin on Friday with the heptathlon and pentathlon at 3 p.m. ET.  On Saturday, the multi events will resume at 9:30 a.m., while the field events begin at 10 a.m. and the running events at 12:15 p.m. ET.

Purdue continues its excellence in the 4x400-meter relays with a pair of top-16 nationally ranked teams. The men's program checks in at No. 9 in the nation after setting the third-best time in program history at the Razorback Invitational (3:07.81). Meanwhile, the women were dubbed the 16th-fastest in the nation after running a season-best 3:38.47 at the Razorback Invitational a week ago.

In the introductory year of the USTFCCCA #EventSquad rankings, the men's 60-meter dash stands among the fastest in the nation. Justin Becker, Samson Colebrooke, Malcolm Dotson and Waseem Williams combine for the sixth-best in the nation with a combined time of just 27.04.

In addition to the Fred Wilt Open, the distance group will travel to South Bend, Indiana for the Meyo Invite. The Boilermakers are scheduled to compete in the mile, 3,000-meter and 5,000-meter races.
