McDonald's All-America Nominees / Bria Harmon Feature / Rickie Woltman Update

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -
A little more light was shined on the future of the Purdue women's basketball program as 2019 signees Bria Harmon and Rickie Woltman were named nominees for the 2019 McDonald's All-America Game. It marks the second straight year at least two Boilermakers have been nominated for the prestigious game, following Cassidy Hardin and Kayana Traylor last season.

"We're excited for Bria and Rickie to have a chance at McDonald's All-America honors," said Purdue head coach Sharon Versyp. "Any time people take notice of your talent and want to showcase it on a national level, it's humbling. We hope they continue to make the most of this and can't wait to get them on campus."

Harmon has her Collins Hill High School squad out to a 17-1 start, including MVP honors at the Deep South Classic, while Woltman's Incarnate Word team is 15-1 and ranked 15th in the ESPNW 25 Power Rankings after she was named MVP of the Visitation Christmas Tournament.
