MAINEVILLE, Ohio - The Purdue women's golf team struggled on the second day of the Big Ten Championships at TPC River's Bend, shooting 15-over par, 303, and holding Friday's spot in the team standings at sixth. Senior August Kim and freshman Micaela Farah offered up the top individual scores of the day for the Boilermakers, shooting two-over, 74, and three-over, 75, respectively.

The Boilermakers could never get it going Saturday, coming up with only four birdies over the 18 holes, with two coming on the 18th and final hole. Kim made 14 pars on the day, earning her lone birdie on the final hole of the course to move to five-over par for the tournament and sitting tied for 13th place, while Farah is one-shot back at six-over par, tied for 16th. Sophomore Ida Ayu Indira Melati Putri turned in the No. 3 team score Saturday, shooting one-under on the back-nine to finish four-over, 76, for the day and sits tied for 21st at eight-over par. The fourth and final team score belonged to sophomore Covadonga SanJuan at six-over, 78.

Northwestern owns a commanding lead on the field in the team standings, shooting three-under, 285, Saturday and taking an eight-shot advantage on the field. Michigan State took a huge leap in the team standings, climbing to second with an impressive team score of five-under, 283, led by a Big Ten Championship-record round from Sarah Burnham. The Spartan dropped 11 birdies on her way to a nine-under, 63, and leads the field at eight-under par.

Purdue will be paired with Michigan and Wisconsin on the third and final day of the tournament, set to tee off a 9:24 a.m. ET for the second straight day.
