WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue women's golf team saw three players named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars list for the second straight year Tuesday afternoon as senior Anna Appert Lund, junior August Kim and sophomore Linn Andersson all earned their way on the list. In order to earn a spot on the team a student-athlete must carry a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5.

Tuesday's honor is the third career WGCA All-American Scholar award for Kim, and the second for Appert Lund. Kim is the fourth player in program history to earn the award at least three times, joining Heather Zielinksi, Maria Hernandez and Thea Hoffmesiter, while Appert Lund becomes the seventh student to earn the award at least twice. Andersson becomes the 14th player in Purdue history to earn a spot on the prestigious list, which dates back to 2001.

The Big Ten Conference had 13 schools represented on the national list, accounting for 37 total spots. Minnesota, Ohio State and Penn State led the conference with five each, while Purdue, Michigan State and Rutgers were tied for next most with three.
