WILMINGTON, N.C. - The Purdue women's golf team continued to compete with some of the nation's best at the Landfall Tradition, played at the Country Club of Landfall Pete Dye Course on Saturday, sitting in a tie for third place after the second day of competition. Despite shooting +7 (295) on the day, the Boilermakers remain just three shots off the lead heading into the third and final day of action.

After not recording a team score on Friday senior Johanna Tillström carded the Boilermakers' top score on Saturday, finishing -1 (71) to post her best 18-hole score of the season and jump 23 spots in the individual standings to a tie for 30th. Fellow senior Aurora Kan remained near the top of the individual leaderboard, shooting +2 (74) to remain -2 (142) for the tournament and in a tie for sixth place, while freshman Marta Martin matched Kan's +2 (74) for the day and is tied for 18th place individually at +1 (145). Junior Anna Appert Lund recorded the Boilermakers' final team score of the day, shooting +4 (76), while sophomore August Kim shot +5 (77) and is +4 (148) for the tournament.

Wake Forest and Oklahoma State are tied for the team lead at -1 (575), as the Cowgirls shot the top team score of the day at -3 (285). The Boilermakers are tied with Virginia in third place , while Alabama, Florida and South Carolina are tied for fifth at +4 (580). South Carolina made the biggest move of the day, jumping seven spots in the team standings with a score of -1 (287). Central Florida's Ashley Holder leads the individual standings, sitting -7 (137) after shooting -2 (70) on Saturday. South Carolina's Nanna Madsen is one shot back at -6 (138), while Alabama's Emma Talley is -4 (140) and two players are tied for fourth at -3 (141).
