Round Two Results // Round Three Tee Times
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The 27th-ranked Boilermakers are in ninth place at the LSU Tiger Golf Classic after firing a 312 for a two-round total of 623 on Saturday.
No. 7 LSU and No. 22 Tennessee are tied for first at 587 while LSU's Madelene Sagstrom is in first as an individual after recording 71s in each round for a total score of 142. Only Catherine O'Donnell of North Carolina has a total score under par. She is in second place at 143.
Purdue junior Laura Gonzalez-Escallon continues to lead the Boilermakers. She is tied for eighth after carding a 75 in round two after opening with a 74 for a total of 149. Paula Reto recorded a 77 on Saturday and is tied for 36 with a two-round score of 155. Kishi Sinha fired a 78 and is tied for 44th at 157.
Freshmen Kendall Dusenberry and Vicky Scherer round out the five member team for Purdue. Dusenberry fired an 82 in the second round and is in 61st place (162) while Scherer recorded an 87 for the second day and is in 77th with a total of 174.
Freshman Aurora Kan is competing as an individual and moved into a tie for 62nd with a nine-stroke improvement from the opening round carding a 76 in the second round for a total of 163.
The final round of the Tiger Classic will begin with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m ET at the University Club, a par-72, 6,305-yard venue.
The host team, LSU won Purdue's Lady Puerto Rico Classic on Feb. 14.
