Round Two Results Get Acrobat Reader

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The top-ranked Purdue women's golf team put together another outstanding round led by senior Maude-Aimee LeBlanc's team-low 69 at the Mason Rudolph Championships in Franklin, Tenn. The Boilermakers fired a six-under par 282 to stand alone in second place with a two-round total of 561 (-15), just one stroke behind 16th-ranked LSU who also fired a 282 on Saturday and has a team total of 560 (-16).

No. 12 California is two strokes behind Purdue in third place with a score of 563 (279-284, -13). Cal's Pia Halbig (68-67=135) and Wake Forest's Michelle Shin (65-70=135) are tied for first place at nine-under par. LeBlanc is in third place, just one stroke behind the leaders. The Sherbrook, Quebec, native followed her opening round 67 with a three-under par 69 on Saturday to total a 136.

Sophomore Laura Gonzalez-Escallon also carded a 69 in the second round. She is tied for 20th place with a two-round total of 142 (73-69, -2). Senior Numa Gulyanamitta shares the nine-way tie for 20th after firing a two-over par 74. The Rayong, Thailand, native recorded a 68 on Friday.

Freshman Alex Stewart and senior Thea Hoffmeister each fired an even-par 72 in the second round. Stewart is tied for 29th with a score of 143 and Hoffmeister is tied for 39th with a two-round total of 145.

The Mason Rudolph Women's Championship is being held at the Vanderbilt Legends Club North Course that is being played as a par-72, 6,281-yard venue.

The Boilermakers will tee off from hole No. 1 in the third and final round beginning at 10 a.m. ET and for the second day in a row will be paired with LSU and California.
