Objectives
- Provide each intern with exposure to strength & conditioning principles and how they are used within Purdue’s strength & conditioning programs.
- Provide each intern with Big Ten Conference strength & conditioning experience.
- Provide each intern with exposure to administrative and maintenance processes and their role within the strength & conditioning program.
- Provide each intern with knowledge of exercises, coaching cues, and teaching progressions.
- Prepare each intern to advance in the field of strength & conditioning.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of Purdue’s strength & conditioning program, including set up and breakdown of equipment for each session.
- Assist in the administrative and maintenance duties involved in the strength & conditioning program.
- Participation in Purdue’s strength & conditioning internship curriculum.
- Read articles recommended by the strength & conditioning staff.

Requirements
- All applicants must be an undergraduate or graduate student seeking an unpaid internship experience in exchange for college or class credit. No unpaid internships may be offered to "volunteers." Internships cannot be offered to international students at this time.
