Tyson Street in is his first season as associate director of recruiting. He spent the previous two seasons as an assistant director in the recruiting office after being hired at Purdue June 7, 2018.
Street’s primary responsibilities include prospect evaluation, organizing recruiting events, creating and managing recruiting materials, maintaining the recruiting database, updating the recruiting board and assisting the coaching staff with day-to-day operations.
Street came to the Boilermakers from the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he served as assistant athletics director of equipment operations in 2017-18. He oversaw all equipment needs for the football program, as well as supervising the student manager program of over 20 members.
Prior to his time at UTSA, Street spent two years at Western Kentucky, where he served as the assistant director of equipment services and worked with current Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm. During his time with the Hilltoppers, Street assisted with all equipment needs for the football program and oversaw the streamlining of the Western Kentucky brand. Street began his professional career at Wake Forest as an assistant manager of equipment services.
A native of Dalton, Georgia, Street earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis on entrepreneurship from Tennessee in 2013. While at Tennessee, he worked as a student team manager for the football program, serving as head manager his senior year.
