Harry Shipley

TitleAssistant Coach
Harry Shipley

Head coach Maggie Frezzotti announced the addition of Harry Shipley for the 2026-27 season.

Shipley is not new to Purdue. The Fishers, Ind. native was a four-year starting shortstop for the Boilers, missing just one game in his career (222 games-played), from 2015-18. During his time at Purdue, Shipley earned a spot on the Big Ten All-Tournament team in 2018 while also helping his team to a second place finish in the Big Ten and the No. 2 seed at an NCAA Regional.

Shipley graduated as the Boilermakers’ record holder with 78 career hit by pitch. He also ranks among the program’s all-time leaders in stolen bases (51, 6th), at-bats (749, 7th), walks (100, 13th) and runs scored (138, 14th). He is the only player in program history with 50 steals and 100 walks.

Shipley stayed with Purdue baseball as an assistant coach from 2019-2021, Shipley joined a new role with the Boilermakers as a Senior Sports Turf Technician where he was responsible for the impeccable maintenance of softball’s Bittinger Stadium.

After a banner year in 2026 where the program broke 11 team records, Frezzotti’s staff is full and poised for another successful campaign.
