Rayma Fisher is in her third season as an assistant coach with the Purdue women[apos]s golf team. A former standout golfer at Missouri, Fisher is a 1996 graduate with a bachelor[apos]s degree in pyschology. Her orgainzational abilities and knowledge of golf were evident as the tournament for the highly successful American Junior Golf Association for the past two years as a tournament director.
During the 1998-99 season, Fisher led the Boilers to its third consecutive appearnance in the NCAA Regionals and a fourth-place finish in the Big Ten Championships.
A native of Portland, Ind., Fisher was a four-year letterwinner under coach Mary Scott.
"Rayma's experience with junior golf will make her an excellent recruiter and talent scout," Brouse said. "We're very excited to have her on staff."
