Phillip Sasser joined Purdue Athletics as a marketing and fan experience associate in August of 2019. His responsibilities include overseeing promotional and marketing efforts for soccer, swimming & diving, track & field, tennis and softball.
Prior to coming to Purdue, Sasser worked at the University of Houston, where he served as the athletics marketing graduate assistant. At Houston, he oversaw marketing and promotion of volleyball, softball and the Shasta's Kids Club program. In addition, he assisted with gameday planning, promotions and sponsorship fulfillment for football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball.
Sasser was also a sports marketing intern at Auburn University from 2016 to 2017.
A native of Decatur, Alabama, Sasser earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Auburn University in 2017 and a master’s degree in sport and fitness administration from the University of Houston in 2019.
