Nick Logan

Nick Logan was named Senior Associate Athletics Director and Executive Director of Development in June 2026 after serving as interim director of the John Purdue Club since November 2025. In his role, Logan leads John Purdue Club strategy and Purdue Athletics’ philanthropic development efforts, including major gifts, capital projects, endowment growth, sport-specific giving, annual membership, donor engagement and strategic revenue initiatives.

Logan joined Purdue Athletics in July 2019 as associate athletics director of leadership gifts and senior director of development. Since arriving in West Lafayette, he has helped guide the John Purdue Club through one of the most productive fundraising periods in department history, supporting and leading a development team that achieved multiple all-time fundraising highs.

Logan came to the Boilermakers from Georgia Tech, where he spent nearly two years as director of leadership giving and premium seating. During his tenure, Logan played an instrumental role in Georgia Tech’s record-breaking 2019 fiscal year, which totaled over $52 million in commitments to athletics.

Before his time at Georgia Tech, Logan served as a major gift officer for the University of Missouri. Among his accomplishments were securing seven-figure commitments for Mizzou’s $100 million south end zone facility project.

Logan spent two years as assistant director of development with Army West Point, where he was promoted to associate director at the end of his tenure. During his two years there, Army’s unrestricted annual fund grew 33% from $4.1 million to $5.4 million.

Logan’s other work experience includes undergraduate internships in athletics development at Missouri and UCLA.

Logan earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Missouri. He and his wife, Mercedes, are the proud parents of their two boys, Salvador and Diego.
