Nick Logan

Nick Logan was named associate athletics director of leadership gifts and senior director of development in July 2019. His responsibilities include managing the major gift team and capital campaigns for the John Purdue Club while also providing strategic leadership.

Logan came to the Boilermakers from Georgia Tech, where he spent nearly two years as director of leadership giving and premium seating. During his tenure, Logan played an instrumental role in Georgia Tech’s record-breaking 2019 fiscal year, which totaled over $52 million in commitments to athletics.

Before his time at Georgia Tech, Logan served as a major gift officer for the University of Missouri. Among his accomplishments were securing seven-figure commitments for Mizzou’s $100 million south end zone facility project.

Logan spent two years as assistant director of development with Army West Point, where he was promoted to associate director at the end of his tenure. During his two years there, Army’s unrestricted annual fund grew 33% from $4.1 million to $5.4 million.

Logan’s other work experience includes undergraduate internships in athletics development at Missouri and UCLA.

Logan is a two-time graduate from Missouri, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management in 2013 and his M.Ed in 2015. He and his wife, Mercedes, welcomed a baby boy, Salvador, to their family in January 2023.
