McCarty Cummings

McCarty Cummings joined Purdue Athletics in August 2023 and currently serves as Associate Director of Broadcast Services. Cummings originally joined the Boilermakers as an assistant director prior to a promotion in December 2024. In his current role, he is responsible for coordinating video broadcasts for Purdue, including game streaming and footage gathering to support the Big Ten Network and B1G+.

Cummings came to West Lafayette after working one year as Assistant Director of BaylorVision, the broadcasting department for Baylor University Athletics. He gained experience producing, directing and assisting in video board content, live event production, and other creative media for a multitude of sports.

Prior to his stint at Baylor, the Corpus Christi, Texas, native earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Texas A&M University, where he also spent time as a student assistant for 12th Man Productions in the school’s athletic department.
