Laurie (Silverstein) Donohue
Laurie Donohue joined the Purdue Athletics team as the assistant strategic communications director for the John Purdue Club in March of 2019. She serves as the primary communications (social media, website, emails, print collateral, data analytics, media relations) contact for the John Purdue Club including major gift/capital project collateral and the Boilermakers' efforts on Purdue Day of Giving. She also assists with social media, website maintenance, and feature writing for Purdue Athletics.

Prior to coming to Purdue, Donohue (née Silverstein) worked with Army West Point Athletics in two separate positions. As the assistant director of marketing, she was part of a team that broke season group and single-game ticket sales and revenue records in both football and men’s ice hockey. As a development assistant handling data and communications, the Army A Club saw the annual fund grow from $4 million to over $7.6 million in unrestricted annual fund dollars during her tenure there. She also has work experience as the on-field personality with the Triple-A Syracuse Chiefs Baseball Club, a graphic design intern with Le Moyne College Athletics and a marketing intern with Binghamton University Athletics.

A native of Yorktown Heights, New York, Donohue earned a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from Binghamton University in 2016 and a master’s degree in advertising from Syracuse University in 2017. Laurie is married to Steven.
