Jordyn Rudd-Lee

Jordyn Rudd was hired by head coach Magali Frezzotti on August 8, 2023. She will enter her fourth season with the Boilermakers in 2027. 

In 2026, the Boilermakers set 11 team program-records, and seven individual records under Rudd-Lee's guidance. Rudd oversaw Moriah Polar who led the nation in both hits and batting average en route to becoming a NFCA All-American. 10 of the 11 team-records broken were in offensive categories.

A four-time All-Big Ten and three-time All-Defensive Team honoree, Rudd played in every game of her collegiate career at Northwestern (2019-2023). Other honors include 2022 Softball America National Defensive Player of the Year, 2022 Johnny Bench Award which is presented to the best female catcher in the nation, and Rawlings Gold Glove Award.

As the first catcher in Big Ten history to be named First Team All-Big Ten in her first three seasons, Rudd closed her career with a .332 batting average, 247 hits, 50 doubles and 297 total bases. 

A catalyst for success, Rudd guided her team to two consecutive NCAA Regional titles, the Big Ten tournament title (2023) and two straight Big Ten regular-season crowns during her career at Northwestern.
