John Sullivan was named manager of development operations in August 2024. He joined the John Purdue Club as an operations assistant in March 2022. Previously, he interned for the John Purdue Club during his tenure as a student at Purdue.
Sullivan manages the Varsity P and Honorary Captain program, oversees scholarship stewardship and endowment reports, and handles naming opportunities associated with Athletics. He also directs the intern program, courtesy car program and provides support with donor travel trips. Sullivan assists with the John Purdue Club departmental strategy and benefits execution to maximize returns on investment. Additionally, he manages a small portfolio of donors and serves as a Boilermaker Athletics Representative.
Sullivan is a third generation Boilermaker who has attended Purdue Athletics events his entire life. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Selling and Sales Management from Purdue in 2021.
A native of Kokomo, Indiana, Sullivan enjoys playing tennis, water sports, and spending time with family and friends.
