Jessie Harrison began her role as the associate director of development events in 2018. Her responsibilities include scheduling, planning and design of all John Purdue Club events, Varsity P reunions and other athletics department functions.
Prior to coming to Purdue, Harrison served as the assistant director of special events for Wake Forest University Athletics where she oversaw venue rentals, special events and gameday hospitality. Her other experience includes marketing coordinator for Wake Forest University Athletics and Liberty Flames Sport Network sideline reporter.
A native of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, Harrison earned a dual bachelor's degree in strategic communications and digital media from Liberty University. As an undergrad, she competed as a heptathlete for the women's track & field team and was a six-time Big South Conference champion. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in higher education from Purdue Global. Jessie enjoys running, baking and cheering on the Boilermakers.
