Jenna Geffert was hired as an Assistant Director of Strategic Communications in December of 2024. She serves as the primary communications contact for Purdue soccer and softball.
Geffert joined the Boilermakers after working as a graduate assistant at Illinois State for a year and a half, where she worked with football, volleyball, softball, and soccer. In addition to her responsibilities as the primary contact, Geffert also hosted the Missouri Valley Conference softball tournament as the primary communications contact.
Geffert has also made stops at USA Baseball as a media relations intern, and with the Pro X Collegiate Summer League at Grand Park.
In undergrad, Geffert played four years of division I softball at Colgate University, while earning her degree in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree at Illinois State University in Kinesiology and Recreation with a Sports Management focus.
A native of Seymour, Connecticut, Geffert is the daughter of Rhonda and Jim, and has one sister, Raeanne Lanphier, who played softball at Bucknell University.
