J.D. Wilde
J.D. Wilde is in his first season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Boilermaker soccer team. Prior to joining the club in the winter of 2002, Wilde guided Purdue?s men?s club soccer team to a 5-3-2 division record en route to an appearnce in the regional qualifying round.

A graduate of Penn State University, Wilde currently holds a United States Soccer Federation National ?C? License, and has earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Goalkeeping Level I Award.

During his stay in Central Pennsylvania, Wilde was a member of the Nittany Lions? rugby team. He was also part of the Happy Valley Barbarians rugby squad.

Wilde graduated from Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas, in 1998. At Elkins, Wilde was a two-time all-district selection at midfield and was named to the regional all-star team in his senior year. Wilde also competed for the junior varisty track and tennis teams, and later played No. 1 singles for the varsity tennis team as a sophomore.

In addition to his impressive athletic resume, Wilde is a NAUI certified scuba diver and a licensed private pilot.
