James Fickes was named John Purdue Club consultant in February 2018 and was promoted to senior consultant in July of 2019. His responsibilities include providing first-class, personalized customer service to members of the John Purdue Club and season-ticket holders.
Prior to coming to Purdue, Fickes served as a sales and service consultant with The Aspire Group at Colorado State Athletics from 2016 to 2018. His other experience includes an internship with the Pittsburgh Pirates in their sales and service department along with being enlisted in the Ohio Army National Guard in 2012.
A native of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Fickes earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Ohio University in 2016. Away from the office, he enjoys going to baseball games, long road trips, golfing, being outside working with animals and going antique shopping.
