Corey Smith joined the sports medicine staff in June of 2015 as a graduate assistant. He currently serves as a seasonal athletic trainer with the football program, working specifically with the defensive players.
Smith spent the past two years working with the track & field programs and assisting with the cheerleading squad.
Prior to Purdue, Smith received his bachelor's degree from Iowa State University in 2015. Between his junior and senior years, he completed a summer internship with the Indianapolis Colts. Smith earned his master's degree in health and kinesiology from Purdue in 2017.
