Christopher Aninye is in his first season as an assistant director of football strength and conditioning. He joined the Boilermakers after serving as the head strength and conditioning coach at Richardson High School in Richardson, Texas.
In May of 2018 through July 2019, Aninye served as Werner Robinson (Georgia) High School’s head strength coach and conditioning coach and as the varsity running backs coach.
In the early part of 2018, Aninye was an assistant director of football strength and conditioning and the head track and field strength and conditioning coach at Western Kentucky.
Aninye got his start in collegiate athletics at Troy University in 2017 where he spent time as an assistant strength and conditioning coach where he worked with the Trojans’ football, volleyball and women’s basketball programs.
Aninye earned a bachelor’s degree (2009) and a master’s degree (2013) in physical education from Alabama A&M University.
He is CSCCa certified, sports performance coach USAW and a NSCA member.
