Charles Jischke was named manager of photographic services in 2017. His responsibilities include photographic coverage for all athletic and development events, marketing and advertising photography, and recruiting visits.
Prior to joining Purdue Athletics, Jischke served as a photographer for Purdue Marketing and Media from 2014 to 2017 and as tour photographer for Billy Idol from 2010 to 2014. During the “touring years” of Jischke’s life, he was listed in the Billy Idol tour book as the “Fun Tech.” And while he has graduated from rock 'n' roll to athletics, he still tries to inject fun into everything he touches.
It is hard to say where Jischke is actually from … he has seemingly lived everywhere: Oklahoma, Missouri, Iowa, Massachusetts, California, New York, and Texas.
Jischke earned his bachelor’s degree in music production and engineering from the Berklee College of Music and his master’s degree in business administration from Purdue’s Krannert School of Management. He has settled in West Lafayette with his wife, Susan, and his two children, William and Elizabeth.
