A native of Kokomo, Indiana, Carson Bowers returned to his alma mater in November 2021 in the role of Associate Director of Marketing & Fan Experience for Purdue Athletics. Bowers was previously an assistant director of fan engagement for Baylor (2018-21).
In his role with the Boilermakers, Bowers oversees the planning and execution of marketing and fan experience initiatives for the men's basketball and football programs.
Prior to his time as an assistant director for Baylor, Bowers first came to the Bears as a graduate assistant in 2016. He was mainly responsible for the marketing of Baylor men's and women's tennis. After earning a promotion to full-time status, Bowers managed the marketing department's student intern program, produced weekly email messaging and oversaw fan engagement for Baylor's baseball, soccer and tennis programs.
Bowers earned his bachelor of arts degree in communications from Purdue University in 2013. He followed that with his master's in sports management from Baylor University in 2018.
