TitleAssistant Coach / Supervisor of Operations
Greg Foerg

Greg Foerg enters his second season as an assistant coach and supervisor of operations for the 2026-27 season for the Purdue men’s and women’s golf teams.

Foerg played a vital role in helping the women’s program finish third at the Big Ten Championships and reach NCAA Regional play for the 11th straight season. Prior to Regionals, the women’s team finished in the top three in each of the three previous tournaments, playing its best golf late in the season.

Meanwhile, Foerg helped the men’s team advance to the NCAA Championships for the third straight season, following a fourth-place finish at NCAA Regionals. The Boilermaker men set a school record for lowest stroke average in a season.

Foerg has been a fixture at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex with over 20 years of operations as a USGA rules official in charge of NCAA events at the facility as well as the annual Puerto Rico Classic in February. He has officiated numerous NCAA Regionals and USGA qualifiers and is the lead-course marking official for both courses at Purdue as well as at Coyote Crossing Golf Course in West Lafayette. In addition, Foerg has served as an assistant coach for West Lafayette HS boys soccer and Central Catholic HS girls soccer.

Prior to his hiring at Purdue, Foerg was a project manager for construction operations with Kennedy Homes, overseeing full project life-cycle of custom homes, ensuring quality control and deadline compliance. He was also the president and owner of Foerg Holdings LLC, managing all aspects of residential property development and management.

Foerg earned his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in Organizational Leadership & Supervision and has been the president and vice president of the board of directors at the Lafayette Country Club.
