• Placed fourth at the Drake Relays in the 5,000m in 16:58.09 on April 27
• Was fifth in the 1,500m in 4:34.02 at the Louisville Invite on April 16

Indoor Track & Field / As a Sophomore

• Competed in three meets in the 3,000 and 4x400
• At the Big Ten Championships, finished the 3,000 in 9:48.75 to place 27th on Feb. 25
• Notched a personal-best 3,000m time of 9:45.28 at the Windy City Invite on Feb. 11

Cross Country / As a Sophomore

• Ran in six meets
• Posted a collegiate-best 6k time of 20:49.0 to place 41st at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 12
• At the Big Ten Championships, ran the 6k in 21:49.4 to place 46th on Oct. 29
• Earned a personal-best 5k time of 17:21.1 at the Joe Piane Invite on Oct. 1
• Was the runner-up at the John McNichols Invite on Sept. 18 with a 5k time of 17:42.4
• Finished third at the Winrow Open on Sept. 3 thanks to a 5k mark of 17:27.5

Outdoor Track & Field / As a Freshman

• Ran in four meets in the 1,500 and 5,000
• Finished the 5,000 in 17:25.88 to place 29th overall at the Big Ten Championships on May 14
• Posted a personal-best 5,000 time of 16:52.62 at the Fighting Illini Big Ten Relays on April 23
• Earned a collegiate-record mark of 4:33.96 in the 1,500 at the Big Ten Indiana Invitational No. 2 on April 9
• Registered a 1,500 time of 4:43.16 at the Big Ten Indiana Invitational No. 1 on March 26

Indoor Track & Field / As a Freshman

• Competed in two meets in the mile and 3,000
• Was fifth in the mile in 4:57.94 at the Big Ten Open on Feb. 20
• Ran the 3,000 in 9:56.65 at the Hawkeye Big Ten Invite on Feb. 12

Cross Country / As a Freshman

• Raced at the Big Ten Championships on Jan 30 and was 83rd in 22:51.0 at Purdue’s lone cross country meet

 
HIGH SCHOOL

• Earned multiple all-state honors
• State runner-up in the 3,200-meter
• Personal-best times are 4:57 in the 1,600 and 10:31 in the 3,200

• Parents are Beth and Jay, who both are Purdue graduates
• Father is Jay Wasson, the Associate Vice President of Physical Facilities at Purdue
• Has one sister, Lauren
• Double majoring in applied statistics and brain & behavioral sciences
