- Placed first at the Alex Wilson Invitational (3/3) and the Boilermaker Invite in the 200-meter dash
- Captured second in the same event at the Purdue Invitational
- Earned first place three times in the outdoor 200-meter dash; won the event at the Purdue Dave Rankin Invitational (4/20-4/21), Jesse Owens Track Classic (4/13-4/14), and the Mike Poehlein Invitational (3/30-3/31)
- Fastest season time was 21.41 seconds
- Placed second with a season-fastest time of 10.79 seconds in the 100-meter dash at the Jesse Owens Track Classic
High School:
- Was a four-year letterwinner on the varsity track and field team
- Also earned three letters as a member of the varsity soccer team
- Qualified for the Ohio High School State Championships during his junior and senior seasons
- Finished fifth in the state his junior year
- Despite injury his senior year, took sixth his senior year
- Anchor of the school's 4x200 team that finished eighth at the state championships during his junior year
