Competed in six varsity events, all outdoors, including the Big Ten Championships, where she placed seventh in the javelin; tossed a season best of 39.02 meters (128-00) at the Mike Poehlein Invitational, and accounted for six of the Boilermakers[apos] top-seven marks on the year.
2009 (FRESHMAN)
Competed in four varsity meets in her rookie campaign, including the Big Ten Outdoor Championships; tossed her career-best mark at the conference championship meet, qualifying for the finals and placing ninth overall; marked 39.77 meters (130-06) at the Stan Lyons Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year varsity letterwinner in track and field at Clinton Central High School; won the javelin at the Indiana State Games as a senior; earned all-conference honors as a junior and senior; helped her team to four conference championships and a pair of 4x400-meter relay titles.
