2009 (JUNIOR)
Competed in 12 varsity events (six indoor, six outdoor), including the Big Ten Outdoor Championships; posted a personal record in the 400-meter dash at the outdoor conference meet, crossing the line in 55.78; notched a season best time in the 600-meter run at the Indiana Invitational, finishing in 1:34.31.
2008 (SOPHOMORE)
Recorded some of the Boilermakers[apos] top times in the mid-distances; finished the 500-meter run in 1:15.78 at the Notre Dame Meyo Invitational; clocked a season and career best time of 1:34.23 in the 600-meter run at the inaugural Big Ten/SEC Challenge at Indiana.
2007 (FRESHMAN)
Ran on the school-record setting outdoor distance medley relay squad, which finished ninth in the Championship of America race at the Penn Relays with a time of 11:26.60; the team broke a record which had been standing for 24 years; posted a season-best time of 1:03.14 in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2007 Dave Rankin Invitational; recorded a pentathlon total of 3,433 points at the 2007 Big Ten Indoor Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Kewanee H.S. in 2006; named the Kewanee H.S. Athlete of the Year in junior and senior year; four-year varsity track and field most valuable player, leading team to a 2006 Class A third-place finish; earned medals in four events at the state championships meet as a senior: 1st-400, 2nd-long jump, 2nd-800 medley and 3rd 100 hurdles; as a junior, took second in state in the 800 medley, sixth in the 400 and seventh in the long jump; placed eighth at state in the long jump as a freshman; three-year most valuable player on varsity volleyball and basketball teams.

Rachel Lynn Stalzer was born March 12, 1988, in Peoria, Ill.; is the daughter of Bill and Joy Stalzer; has one sister, Lindsay, and one brother, Nicholas; enjoys reading, boating and shopping; majoring in computer graphic technology.
