Tied the Boilermakers[apos] indoor record in the long jump, leaping 6.23 meters (20-05.25) at the Wisconsin Elite Invitational; provisionally qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships; qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds with a career best mark of 6.26 meters (20-06.50), good for third all-time at Purdue; medaled at the indoor and outdoor conference championships, taking third indoors and second outdoors.

2009 (FRESHMAN)
Qualified for the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships in the long jump; placed fifth in the long jump at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships; marked the fifth-longest long jump mark in Purdue[apos]s outdoor history, leaping 6.20 meters (20-04.25) at the Mike Poehlein Invitational and the Georgia Spec Towns Invitational.
