Three-year varsity letterwinner at Bishop Chatard High School; Indiana State High School Indoor Champion in the high jump; posted a top mark of 2.03 meters (6-08.00) in the high jump and a best time of 49.7 in the 400-meter dash; four-year member of the football team, earning all-state and all-Indianapolis honors as a senior, and being named the school[apos]s defensive player of the year.
