• Redshirted his lone season at South Carolina, before transferring to Purdue.
BEFORE PURDUE
• Zhu had a strong scholastic career before enrolling at South Carolina under former Purdue head coach Rob Bradley.
• Finished third at the 2025 Canadian Men's Amateur Championship and was fourth at the Ontario Men's Amateur Championship before his arrival in West Lafayette.
• Was seventh at the JAGA First Coast Amateur in 2025.
• Played well on the AJGA tour, placing fifth at the 2024 AJGA Junior at Huntsville and 16th at the AJGA Panama Junior. Also placed ninth in the 2024 Discover Puerto Rico Junior Championship.
• In 2023, placed second at the St. Augustine Amateur and fourth at the AJGA Junior at Huntsville. Was also 15th at the Justin Thomas Junior Championship.
• Won the UHY Albany Junior and Golf Performance Center Junior in 2022 and placed second at the Canadian Boys Junior Championship.
