HIGH SCHOOL
Three-year varsity letterwinner in cross country and track and field at Western High School; 2008 cross country team captain, leading the team to county, conference sectional and regional championships; two-time cross country team most valuable runner; 2009 Indiana high school indoor state champion in the 3,200-meter run, placed fifth outdoors to earn all-state honors; set school record in the 3,200 with a time of 9:17.67; led track and field team to county, conference and sectional championships in 2009.

Corey Benjamen Scott was born July 12, 1990, in Kokomo, Ind.; is the son of Mike and Missy Scott; has two brothers, Tommy and Adam; intends to major in health sciences.
