COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn. – The Purdue men’s tennis team began its journey at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championship with the singles qualifiers.
The event began with the round of 64 men’s qualifiers, which included Jacob Lee, Mateusz Miton and Stefan Simeunovic competing. Lee, the first Boilermaker to finish, posted a decisive 6-1, 6-4 victory in the Round of 64, advancing to the afternoon’s Round of 32 where he went on to complete a comeback after dropping the first set 4-6, responding with a 7-5, 6-2 victory.
The Boilermakers will return to action tomorrow for Day 2. Full schedule of events will be released later this evening.
