Game 6 Prep: Head Coach Barry Odom Press Conference
Fame [Ijeboi] is a tremendous player for us with a great heart and he’s a wonderful, wonderful young man. He’s tough, and he does everything we ask of him, not only in this building but in community service, being a great student-athlete, and he’s a terrific leader.
- Head Coach Barry OdomThe development of the wide receiver room and the understanding of how to run routes, their confidence and perimeter blocking… They’re doing all the little things in that room, playing without the ball in their hands, getting really good a route technique, great at understanding how we’re trying to get them open. Credit to coach Marshall, those guys continue to get better as the season’s gone on.
- Offensive Coordinator John HensonIt was a trophy game, and I think that’s something we emphasized all week. This matters to the people at Purdue. We wanted to win this game… To see the smiles on their face afterwards was awesome, and that’s where this profession is so rewarding.
