TULSA, Okla. – Junior Nour Fathalla of the Purdue men’s tennis squad made a run in the All-American Championships qualifying bracket this week, picking up two wins below
In all, Fathalla competed in five matches over the ITA All-American Championships tournament, which featured qualifying brackets, the main draw, and consolation bracket. The junior secured two victories, earning his spot in the main draw – which included a strong battle against Texas’ Mariano Dedura-Palomero which went to tiebreak in both sets. After falling in the main bracket, Fathalla earned a win in the consolation bracket qualifiers round of 32.
The Boilermakers are back in action this weekend, with five headed to New Jersey for the Ted Farnsworth Invitational, hosted by Princeton. The event will run Friday through Sunday.
