CARY, N.C. – Purdue women’s tennis junior Ece Gencer competed at the prestigious ITA All-American Championships.
The Istanbul, Türkiye native took her opponent, Isabella Wong of University of California-Santa Barbara, in the main stage to three sets, winning the first in extras, 7-6(3) before ultimately falling.
The Boilermakers will return to practice this week as they prep for the Hoosier Classic, taking place Friday, October 2 through Sunday, October 4.
