WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – With the number of allotted fall exhibition games doubling to four this year, Purdue Baseball is scheduled to play three of its dates at home as part of the program’s fall ball schedule at Alexander Field.
The Boilermakers’ 45-day fall practice calendar begins Monday, Sept. 14 and once again features a number of open scrimmages. Fall exhibition games and open scrimmages all feature free admission.
Purdue hosts Cincinnati (Sept. 27), Louisville (Oct. 3) and Akron (Oct. 11) at Alexander before visiting Dayton (Oct. 18) for its final fall exhibition game. Cincinnati, Louisville and Dayton have been regular fall opponents for the Boilermakers this decade. Purdue also played regular-season series vs. Akron in Holly Springs, N.C. in 2023 and 2025.
All four fall exhibition games are expected to feature 1 p.m. start times and are likely to be 12-plus innings regardless of the score.
The coaching staff has designated at least eight practice dates as scrimmage days, which are also open to the public. Open scrimmages begin Tuesday, Sept. 15 and are generally set for Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Weekday times are generally 3-5 p.m.
Fall ball concludes with the annual Black & Gold Series. The three-game intrasquad series will be held the weekend of Oct. 23-25. Those games are also open to the public and will feature afternoon start times.
Updates related to scrimmage dates and start times will be shared on the team’s social media accounts on the day of and posted here as they become available. Dates and times are subject to change based on weather and with limited advance notice.
