WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The No. 14-ranked Purdue volleyball squad (3-2) served up an efficient 3-0 sweep over IU Indy (25-10, 25-9, 25-16), featuring a season-high 11 team aces, 13 total blocks and a .389 team clip in just one hour and two minutes.
The Boilermakers bounced back from the loss to now-No.11 TCU, beginning the match against IU Indy with 10 unanswered points. The run began thanks to middle Bianka Lulić, who started for the first time this season and went on to serve a career-high four service aces, with 21 serves just a set and a half into the match.
The one-hour and two-minute match was the fastest in over three years.
A well-balanced Purdue stat sheet included seven Boilermakers with a kill, all with two errors or fewer. Moreover, Grace Heaney and Lily Bosworth went perfect, seeing five kills and three kills, respectively.
Defensively, Purdue out-blocked IU Indy, 13-3 and held the Jaguars to a -.056 hitting clip. Meanwhile, Taylor Anderson dished out two assists as the squad hit .389 on the night – improving each set until the team finished with a .421 attack % in Set 3.

No. 14 Purdue heads to the Bahamas tomorrow to prepare for the first-ever volleyball match played outside the United States with the Paradise Invitational, hosted at Baha Mar in Nassau, Bahamas. Purdue is set to open the tournament on Saturday, September 12 vs. Houston at 11:30 a.m. ET on ESPN+. No. 8 SMU vs. No. 3 Kentucky will follow. The losers from each match will face off at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN2, followed by the winners at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN.
