Purdue Partners with Progressive Insurance for 2026 Season

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue Athletics, along with its multimedia rights holder Learfield, has announced a sponsorship agreement with Progressive ahead of the 2026 football season. The highlight of the sponsorship will be the Progressive logo featured on Rohrman Field at Ross-Ade Stadium throughout the fall.

Purdue joins 12 other institutions (Boise State, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas State, Ole Miss, Oregon, SMU, Syracuse, Texas Tech, USC and Wake Forest) in partnering with Progressive, providing premium brand visibility at some of the sport's most recognizable stadiums.

“We are thrilled to bring Progressive onboard as a partner for the 2026 season of Purdue Football,” said Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Tommy McClelland. “As we continue elevating the Purdue brand, our work with Learfield and our local Purdue Sports Properties team remains of the highest priority. Thank you to those groups for securing this new opportunity for sponsorship placement within Ross-Ade Stadium.”

The agreement was facilitated by Learfield’s corporate partnership team, the company's centralized resource dedicated to generating impactful partnerships at scale that incorporate high-visibility assets such as on-field logos.

“We must be innovative in finding new revenue sources for Purdue Athletics,” said Purdue Sports Properties General Manager Mark Walpole. “This partnership with Progressive provides significant revenue for Purdue Athletics while showcasing the outstanding Progressive brand and message to our passionate Boilermaker fan base.”

“College football is about more than what happens on game day – it reflects the pride, tradition and community that defines Purdue and we’re proud to support the student-athletes, alumni and fans who help make this program so special,” said Sean Freeman, Media Business Leader at Progressive.  “We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of game days with this historic fanbase.”

Progressive’s national presence will be complemented by in-game videoboard features, in-venue LED signage, digital and social media integrations and other game day experiences designed to engage fans before kickoff, throughout the game and beyond the final whistle.

The Boilermakers host Indiana State to kick off the 2026 campaign under the lights of Ross-Ade on Friday night (Sept. 4). The season-opening matchup is set to begin at 7 p.m. ET on BTN.
