WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The Purdue men’s basketball team heads North of the border tomorrow, beginning a nine-day excursion to Vancouver and Whistler, British Columbia.
The Boilermakers will spend parts of nine days in Canada, leaving July 24, and returning to West Lafayette August 1. During its time in Vancouver, the team will play four games, then head to Whistler for two days.
The Boilermakers will play contests on July 25, July 26, July 28 and July 29. As of now, the first two games available to watch via stream, the third game is to be determined and the fourth game will not be streamed. Live stats should be available for all four games.
We ask all fans to check the status of live streams and live stats on Purdue’s official X (Twitter) page throughout the trip. Tickets are available for purchase for all four games online, and if still available, at the door on the day of the game.
Purdue will fly into the Vancouver area on Friday. As a reminder, Vancouver is in the Pacific time zone, three hours behind West Lafayette.
It will be the first competition in a Purdue uniform for newcomers Luke Ertel, Jacob Webber, Sinan Huan, Rivers Knight and Caden Pierce. Currently, new arrival Enzo Shahrvin will not be eligible to play in Vancouver.
Some of the sights Purdue will see during its nine-day excursion are Stanley Park, a harbor boat tour, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, Grouse Mountain and additional sightseeing opportunities in Whistler -- site of the skiing competitions in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
