WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue volleyball senior outside hitter Kenna Wollard was selected to attend the JT Rise Academy Powered by UnderArmour (UA) Next this coming weekend, featuring the nation’s premiere collegiate volleyball players in an invite-only experience.
The event, hosted by two-time Olympic medalist, 2025 Athletes Unlimited Pro Volleyball Champion and LOVB professional volleyball player Jordan Thompson, will be held May 8-10 at the Prime Volleyball Club Facility in Orange County, California. Featuring the nation’s top collegiate players, the athletes will experience on and off the court elements throughout the weekend designed to elevate their game and prepare them for the future. Thompson will be joined by fellow coaches Alfee Reft, Sue Enquist and more.
Wollard is one of four outside hitters on the 14-woman roster and one of eight hailing from a Big Ten conference institution.
Wollard, coming off a breakout season which culminated in National Player of the Year Semifinalist, Second Team All-America, unanimous All-Big Ten First Team and AVCA Midwest Region Player of the Year accolades, finished third in Purdue history for single-season kills, seventh in the nation and second in the Big Ten with 577.
