WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue Football learned its first kickoff time for the 2026 season, as the Boilermakers’ game against Washington moves to Friday night under the lights of Ross-Ade Stadium (Oct. 16). The Big Ten Conference, in partnership with FOX, announced Friday night football games for the upcoming year; the contest between the Boilers and Huskies will kick off at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.

The conference matchup will mark Purdue's 17th game played on Friday night and the fifth played at Ross-Ade Stadium. The Boilermakers made four Friday night appearances over the last three years under the Big Ten’s new media right agreement with FOX.

For the first time ever, Purdue hosts Washington for a Big Ten battle after the Boilermakers visited the Huskies last season for the first conference contest between the two schools. Throughout history, Purdue and Washington have met 11 times on the gridiron, starting with a 13-6 Boilermaker victory in 1961. Prior to last season’s game in Seattle, the previous two matchups were in the 2001 Rose Bowl and the 2002 Sun Bowl.

TV network designations and kick times for Purdue’s first three games, along with Homecoming, are expected to be announced within the next month.

Season tickets for the 2026 season are on sale now.
