On Wednesday, April 29, Purdue Day of Giving brings together the entire Boilermaker community for the biggest 24-hour fundraising event in higher education. For Purdue Athletics, it’s an opportunity to support the student-athletes and programs behind those victories, and help forge what comes next.

Last year, Boilermakers stepped up in a big way, raising $9.5 million through a record-breaking 3,232 gifts to support Purdue Athletics.

EARN DOUBLE PRIORITY POINTS

Gifts to the Purdue Athletics Competitive Excellence Fund provide flexible support for the areas of greatest need across Purdue Athletics—helping fund student-athlete development, facility enhancements, and program resources.

On Purdue Day of Giving, these gifts also earn double John Purdue Club priority points, allowing you to maximize both your impact and your positioning for tickets, parking, and the Mackey Arena reseat in 2027.

Please note: Gifts to the Purdue Athletics Competitive Excellence Fund do not count toward annual John Purdue Club membership but do count toward Lundy League membership.

BOILER UPGRADE FOR NEW MEMBERS

For the first time, Purdue Day of Giving introduces a Boiler Upgrade opportunity for new John Purdue Club members.

First-time members who join on April 29 will receive an automatic upgrade to the next membership level, unlocking enhanced benefits throughout the 2026–27 year.

For example, a new MVP ($1,000+) member will receive All-American ($3,000+) level benefits, including access to experiences like the Old Gold & Black Dinner.

This one-time opportunity is available only on April 29 and applies exclusively to first-time members.

Already a member? Refer a new member and earn one priority point for every $100 of their first gift.

COMPETE IN CHALLENGES FOR BONUS FUNDS

Every gift on April 29 helps Purdue Athletics climb the leaderboards and earn bonus dollars.

Sports programs will compete for $30,000 in bonus funds, awarded based on donor participation, total dollars raised, and head coach engagement.

When making your gift, be sure to select the sport you wish to support to help them rise in the standings.

EARN PRIORITY POINTS ACROSS CAMPUS

Your impact isn’t limited to athletics.

Gifts to non-athletics units across Purdue also earn John Purdue Club priority points, allowing you to support what matters most to you while strengthening your priority position for tickets and parking. You must be an active John Purdue Club member to utilize your priority points.
