WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - After earning her third Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor on Monday, Moore picked up two National recognitions, being named D1 Softball's Freshman of the Week and Softball America's Freshman Star of the Week.

Moore earns Purdue's first Softball America Star of the Week honor this season, and garners her second D1 Softball National Freshman of the Week honor.

Moore went 7-for-15 this week with 14 RBI and six runs scored, including three home runs. The freshman batted .467, while slugging for 1.200 with a .529 on-base percentage. Moore also had a team-leading five extra-base hits with her three homers and two doubles.

With now 11 homers on the season, Moore broke Purdue’s Freshman home run record, and now just sits four away from breaking the all-time mark. Moore is also poised to break Purdue's single season RBI mark sitting at 51 on the season and needing just four more.

Moore went 3-for-4 with 6 RBI, three runs scored, and two home runs, including a grand slam, the record-breaking home run, in game one at Rutgers. This was Moore's second two-homer game of the season. In game two against the Scarlet Knights, Moore went 3-for-5 with 5 RBI and one run scored.

Against Miami Ohio, Moore went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer, her ninth of the season which helped to lead Purdue to the 8-0 shutout victory.

Moore is the only Big Ten freshman this season to earn Freshman of the Week three times and is just one of two Freshmen to earn D1 Softball's honor twice this season (Morgan Talley, NC State).
