BOILERMAKER NOTABLES
- Purdue enters the week with a 4-9 (0-4 Big Ten) record, including three wins at home.
- Leading the team in wins this spring are sophomore Nour Fathalla (6-6), freshman Jacob Lee (6-2) and junior Juan David Velasquez (6-5).
- Lee went 2-0 in singles last week, picking up wins at the No. 5 position (at Oregon) and No. 6 position (at Washington). He was the first to finish in singles at #45 Oregon, posting a decisive 6-4, 6-1 win over Lachlan Robertson.
- Lee has dropped just two of the last eight sets as he extended his winning record to 6-2 (3-0 Big Ten) this spring, including four of the last five.
- Fathalla has picked up a win every week of conference play, including taking down #57 Spencer Johnson (#26 UCLA) in Purdue's last home dual. He stands at a 3-2 record against ranked foes in 2025-26, as he is poised to play a ranked foe on Sunday vs. No. 5 Ohio State.

- Then on Sunday, the Boilermakers will face the No. 5 Buckeyes, a team they faced during the ITA Kickoff Weekend (1/24). In the match, Purdue fell 0-4, however Henrik Villanger, Stefan Simeunovic and Jacob Lee did not compete in singles.
- Ohio State is home to five ranked doubles duos, including the No. 1 pair in the nation: #1 Brandon Carpico and Nikita Filin, #17 Alexander Bernard and Alex Okonkwo, #28 Aidan Kim and Bryce Nakashima, #52 Jack Anthrop and Loren Byers and #56 Jack Anthrop and Preston Stearns.
- Meanwhile in singles, five Buckeyes are ranked: #9 Aidan Kim, #16 Preston Stearns, #27 Jack Anthrop, #32 Alex Okonkwo and #85 Nikita Filin.
