WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boilers head to Tuscaloosa, Ala. this weekend from Feb. 13-15 to take on three different opponents at the 2026 Easton Bama Bash.
Purdue will take on Georgia Southern, Liberty, and the host team, the No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide.
The Boilers will begin the tournament with two games on Feb. 13 taking on Georgia Southern at 12:00 p.m. and No. 10 Alabama at 5:00 p.m. est. The Boilers will then take on No. 10 Alabama again on Feb. 14 at 2:30 p.m. est before a night cap with Georgia Southern at 7:30 p.m. est. The tournament will end on Feb. 15 with a sole game against Liberty at 11:00 a.m. est.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
Georgia Southern went 3-2 in the first tournament of the season, taking victories over UNC Greensboro and Eastern Illinois. The team fell 1-0 to Western Kentucky as well as Eastern Illinois. In 2025, the Eagles went 29-25 and 13-11 in conference. In the Sun Belt conference tournament, Georgia Southern lost 9-2 in game one to fourth-seeded Louisiana Monroe.
The No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide comes into their home tournament 5-0 after defeating Villanova, Eastern Carolina, and Georgia Tech in Atlanta. The Crimson Tide came away with commanding victories over Villanova taking the 17-0 win, and another shutout victory over host team, Georgia Tech, 9-0. In 2025, Alabama went 40-23 and 12-12 in the SEC. Alabama hosted the Tuscaloosa Regional, then advanced to the Norman Super Regional, falling in back-to-back games to Oklahoma.
Liberty went 0-5 in the first tournament of the season, while taking on top competition such as No. 4 Tennessee, No. 9 Clemson, Missouri, No. 5 Oregon, and Notre Dame. In 2025, the Flames won the Conference USA Championship, making an appearance at the College Station Regional. The Flames made history knocking off the No. 1 seeded Aggies before falling in back-to-back games at Oregon in the Eugene Super Regional.
SERIES HISTORY
Purdue and Georgia Southern have only met one time in their histories, back in 2007. Purdue leads the series, after defeating the Eagles 4-2 in Sacramento, Calif.
Purdue and Alabama have only met three times in their histories, all taking place in Tuscaloosa. The Boilers are 0-3 against the Crimson Tide. Alabama leads the run deficit 26-3 against Purdue. This will be the first matchup of the programs in 12 years.
Liberty and Purdue have met three times in their histories where Purdue leads 2-1. All three meetings have been on neutral sites. Purdue has only losr the most recent matchup in 2014.
