WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue Track & Field’s Douglas Buckeridge will run in the 5000m at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in Boston on Saturday, Dec. 6 to start Purdue's 2025-26 season.
Buckeridge Notes
• Buckeridge is coming off his third consecutive campaign earning NCAA Great Lakes All-Region honors in cross country.
• He was seventh at Big Ten Cross Country Championships this season to earn first team honors. He became just the seventh different Boiler to earn first team honors in school history.
• Buckeridge holds six top 10 times in track & field school history headlined by his program record in the 10,000m (28:51.46).
• He holds two top 10 times indoors: No. 5 in the 3000m (8:04.85) and No. 7 in the 5000m (14:05.92).
Next Up
The entire Purdue team will begin the indoor season Jan. 9-10 at the Rod McCravy Memorial in Louisville, Kentucky.
